New 10mm Carbine from Hi Point

Recently pistol caliber carbines are becoming more popular for a wide range of reasons. Smaller and more affordable to shoot they make for the perfect companion gun for weekend outings in the woods or quick trips to the range. The management at Hi Point Firearms have taken notice and decided of this trend and decided to rework one of their most popular firearms, the Hi Point Carbine Model 995 and turn into another caliber this time the 10mm. The new rifle is rumored to be labeled the Model 1095, but things can change before production runs are released. He have decided included a copy of the press release that has most of the details shooters want to know.

Hi-Point has a new carbine in 10mm Auto. At only $389.99, this new carbine will shoot with much higher dollar carbines and of course will send the bullet just as fast. Hi-Point began work on this project in the spring of 2017 due to customer demand for an affordable carbine platform chambered in this powerful pistol cartridge
When a 10mm round is fired from a barrel several inches longer than a handgun, the velocity, range and energy really jumps up, making this carbine so powerful it’s even legal for big game hunting in some states.
“This new carbine chambered for the potent 10mm cartridge will make a lot of buyers happy,” says MKS president Charles Brown. “Tough, reliable and accurate, it fills the bill for a robust, reliable and accurate firearm that delivers excellent performance.”

The company has said that the new carbine will be at their booth during SHOT Show 2018.
