Stanley Master Series | 8oz flask review

Stanley Master Series | 8oz flask review

October 3, 2017 by Loadout Room Guest Authors Leave a Comment

There are few things more enjoyable and relaxing as getting out into the outdoors. Camping is obviously one of the best ways to experience this as you are immersing yourself in the wilderness around you. What’s more enjoyable than smoothing it out in the woods? If you ask me, I’d say drinking while you do it!

Luckily, Stanley has upped their game with the new Master Series line-up of products. Specifically, the Master Flask is exactly what you’ll need to help keep yourself afloat in the great outdoors. Now, we’ve all come to know their trademark Classic Series of products, which is the largest part of their 100+ year history.

So what makes the Master Flask better than any other ordinary hip flask that you may own already? For one, it’s much more durable than their normal lineup. The Master Series uses 1.00mm stainless steel, as opposed to the 0.7mm in their other products. The result is a product that maintains the ability to be rust-proof and naturally BPA-free, while being much more resistant to impact. This is something you’ll appreciate after you’ve refilled the flask a few times.

Stanley Master Series | 8oz flask review

The Master Flask can hold 8oz of liquid (or the high quality hooch as Stanley recommends). The opening is wider than normal, which is great for filling it up and cleaning inside the flask. The steel cap is machined and knurled for easy opening and grip. It is both leak proof and dishwasher safe, which is always a plus. While only slightly heavier than your typical flask, it is barely noticeable once you get used to it. My favorite feature on this product is the Foundry black powdercoat that gives just a little bit of textured grip to hang on to.

With a reputation like Stanley has, you know you’ll get a high quality product that will likely be passed down the line over time. For only $35, you can take your camping game to another level.
