Tenicor Velo Appendix Inside the Waistband Holster

December 4, 2018 by Heath Layman Leave a Comment

Tenicore Velo Appendix Inside the Waistband Holster

Tenicor – A Purposeful Design

Tenicor thinks outside of the box with a purposeful design and attention to quality.  If you need to conceal a pistol, big or small, turn to Tenicore’s VELO Appendix Inside the Waistband  (AIWB) holster.

VELO | ˈWEː.LOː| V. | LATIN means to Hide, Conceal, or Cover

The design of the Tenicor VELO holster checks all of the usual boxes for a quality concealed carry holster.  The Tenicore Velo provides secure retention and precision fit but it doesn’t stop at that.  The details of this intelligently designed holster are what set it apart.  It’s not just another Kydex holster.

To dumb it down, the Tenicor VELO simply “bulbs out” at the right spot which causes the handle of the concealed pistol to turn into your body and not print on your cover garments.  This multi-angled design also pushes the muzzle away from the body as it rotates the grip toward the body; a comforting reassurance as I personally don’t want to point my muzzle at something I really don’t want to destroy!

When worn in front of your hip for an appendix type carry, the bulb out causes the pistol to disappear under your shirt.

The model I tested was for a Glock 43 pistol, found here.  I truly believe the design of this holster would allow me to conceal carry my long slide Glock 35 without a problem.

It Stays in Place

The provided Tenicor T1 Clip proved to be quite strong and durable.  You can stagger the placement of the clips to allow for a canted carry.  I chose to keep them in-line for a straight-up draw.  These clips do a phenomenal job of keeping the holster right where you put it.  When worn with a sturdy belt, this holster isn’t going to move.  Not that I recommend it, but you could wear this holster with the Tenicor T1 Clip without a belt and it would stay in place.

Accommodates Future Plans

If you plan to install a red dot sight and suppressor height sights on your pistol, this holster will work.  When I finish building my Glock 19 with an RMR and back-up suppressor sights, I hope to get my hands on another Tenicor holster for concealed carry and to share the results with you here.

Head over to Tenicor and check out their unique take on holster designs.  If you’re Military/Law Enforcement/First Responder, email them at info@tenicor.com with a copy of your official government ID and they’ll send you out a coupon code.

Don’t be fooled by the beautiful girl, she can be deadly.
