UTG Introduces New S4 Stock and Stock Assembly Kit

UTG has a solution for those of you who are in the market for a small lightweight AR stock that retains the major features of a full-size collapsible: the S4 stock. With a weight of just 7.2 ounces, a height of 4.75 inches and an overall length of 4.28 inches, the UTG S4 is billed as a great option for lightweight carbines and short barreled rifle builds. Here’s a little more detail, via the UTG press release.

The new S4 provides a length of pull adjustment range from 7.58″ to 9.53″ when used on a standard 6 Position extension tube accommodating different body type and the wearing of plate carriers, tactical vests, and other rigs. Its slim overall profile retains the same slanted cheek rest of our other S-Series of stocks and greatly aids in stability and repeatable shouldering. A removable extended cheek rest is included for additional cheek weld comfort and works very well for those who prefer to stay nice and tight with their nose to the charging handle.

The S4 is the end result of tight tolerance control procedures and relentless product development. Many steps were taken to develop a smaller foot print stock, while remaining structurally sound with snag free performance exceeding functionality of other full size variants. You will find our S4 stock equipped with features such as: fully dehorned corners and melted contours, little to no flash and mold marks, a reversible QD sling swivel housing, and an ambidextrous standard sling loop. The Mil-spec compatible S4 is currently available as a standalone stock or as a stock assembly kit which includes a Mil-spec 6-position buffer tube, buffer, buffer spring, receiver end plate, and castle nut.
