Hey guys Locs N LOAD here with a review on the Mec-Gar 18+2 extended magazine. These mags were sent to me by the company to evaluate on. I put over a hundred rounds through these magazines with zero malfunctions and all rounds feeding flawlessly. I used a mix of Remington UMC FMJ 115gr 9mm, Fedreal Premium 115gr FMJ and Federal Premium Hydro Shok 135gr JHP ammunition. Again all rounds feeding perfectly.
After the basic test of seeing if the magazine would feed the rounds I upped the ante and toot them with me to the Fighting and Survival Tactics- Team Tactics Course in Lake City, Fla to see what these mags could do in a more dynamic situation. We had it all sun and shine, rain and mud. Of course with the quality and history of Mec Gar i wasn’t surprised when the magazines ran without fail. I will continue to use Mec-Gar magazines and give an update after a thousand rounds to see how they’re holding up.
