Blue Force Friday: The User Determined Connection Padded Bungee Single Point Sling

The User Determined Connection (UDC) Padded Single Point Bungee Sling is a dedicated single point sling that is both fast and comfortable.  The UDC Sling has 2″ inline padding, similar to the Padded Vickers Slings for extra comfort that ends in two sections of bungee.

One of the problems with bungee slings is that the rifle can get caught of something, stretch out the bungee, then release, auto butt stroking the wearer. The UDC  bungee only has a travel of approximately 2″ – enough to absorb shock from movement or transitions but short enough to reduce the risk of facial injuries or sagging weapons.  The overall length is adjustable, ambidextrous, and compatible with use over body armor.

Taking the sling off wearing full kit can be a slow process, the UDC Sling quickly detaches with a Fastex side release buckle if your rifle is hung up or you need to take it off.

Sizing:

  • Overall length is adjustable to accomodate different sized weapons, with or without body armor

Build:

  • 1.25″ sling webbing
  • 2.00″ tubular webbing with closed cell foam padding and bungee sections
  • Invista solution dyed CORDURA® webbing
  • ITW GhilleTex™ Acetal hardware  – a military grade, low IR plastic

The UDC Sling (User Determined Connection) quickly attaches to different sling adapters with a Fastex side release buckle.  You can select any attachment method from the option set:

Strap Adapters : Fits standard sling swivels, loops, or separate Sling Hardware

UDC Padded Bungee One Point Sling Strap Adapter

Sling Snap Hook Adapter : Fits weapons with HK style eyelets, SCARs, or endplates with eyelet loops.  Comes with an elastic Hook Cover.

UDC Padded Bungee One Point Sling HK Hook Adapter

UDC Padded Bungee One Point Sling Push Button Adapter

Additional Sling Adapters are available to allow quick and easy transfer of the UDC Sling to multiple weapons or configurations.

As with all Blue Force Gear products, the UDC™ Padded Bungee Single Point Sling is made with excellence in the USA, is Berry Compliant, and carries a limited lifetime warranty.
