If you purchase your own short barrel upper receiver and then have it put on your unit’s property book before you deploy then *cough-cough* the MP’s will never know that it wasn’t issued when they inspect your ISU-90’s. What they don’t know can’t hurt them. Besides, there is black side equipment we don’t even talk about here that they are not authorized to see and has to be kept compartmentalized. Just sayin’… -Jack
