When working in non-permissive environments you expect a lot from your helmet. It needs to be light, have the highest fragmentation protection possible, and be able to stop type IIIA handgun threats. Most ballistic helmets do the latter. Fewer do frag and IIIA threats. And it gets narrowed down to a couple when it comes […]

The Vertx EDC Commuter | Hit Back
The Vertx EDC Commuter is an absolutely massive bag, but it doesn’t appear that way from the outside. Sure it’s on the larger side of sling bags, but it’s still smaller than a backpack. I say it’s massive because of the amount of gear I can store in this thing. Not only that but because […]
Lone Wolf 5.7/9/40 AR Carbine
Lone Wolf’s G9 Carbine looks like any another modern sporting rifle until you check the magazine well. The G9 lower uses small-frame Glock pistol magazines, which solves the problems of previous 9mm AR carbines and makes it an affordable, reliable, and fun gun. Modern Sporting Rifles (MSR), also known as AR rifles, are commonly used for self defense, hunting, […]

As I stepped in front of the battlefield cross to place the Kevlar atop the rifle rounds […]
Becoming Open Minded Shooters
Let us admit something; as shooters or firearms enthusiasts, we like all other humans are full of opinions. We tend to fixate on ideas or observations that we interpret through our own experiences and formulate opinions based on our perceptions of these observations. At times these opinions are based on ideas or observations that were […]

AK47 Rifle Stock Fix
Have you ever typed AK47 Rifle Stock Fix into Google? There is not much there even though the under folder stock models of the AK47 family are terrible, everyone knows it. Even all the die hard AK47 fanboys (myself included) will tell you they just suck. If Uncle Ivan or whoever could have made a […]
MOS Tactical SPAV-W | Is it a Crye JPC killer?
The Crye JPC is near ubiquitous in many operating environments since it’s inception. It’s a fantastic lightweight carrier that leverages many modern materials to save weight. The Crye JPC is cut tight and because of this it is extremely light weight and low profile. However it does have some issues with premature wear. A medium […]
