As I progress on my series “prepared for adventure,” I’ve been searching high and low for the ultimate “Preparedness” equipment, training, tactics and strategies. I’ll be looking at the Scout motorized Paramotor as a means of infiltration and exfiltration.
I got the idea this weekend when I was 4X4 on the dunes of Pismo Beach. I glanced to the North, just before sunset, when I glimpsed a small powered paraglider landing on the beach right by the owners 5th wheel. Clearly, a handy capability if one should need to bug out of an urban area.
So far the videos I’ve found for them are pretty lame; but, this one will give you an idea of what I mean.
