Those who carry a gun on a regular basis seem almost universally aware of the weight that responsibility holds. Rarely have I seen someone dedicate themselves to carrying a concealed weapon who didn’t also take the time to read up on their state’s laws regarding CCW and spend time training from a concealed starting point.
Every so often I come across a video or article with a drill in it that is good enough to be added to my “to-do” list at the range. The below video covering the “Pace Yourself” drill falls under that umbrella. I’m not saying these shooters are the next generation’s Jerry Miculek, but the drill they’re running is an excellent one that swings from speed to accuracy like a teeter-totter. It’s not always easy to “change gears” in the middle of a shooting drill, which is a great reason to practice it.
