Law Enforcement review of the Bravo Concealment Light Bearing Holster

August 22, 2018 by Loadout Room Guest Authors Leave a Comment

Bravo Concealment Light Bearing Holster

As a Law Enforcement Professional I have seen my fair share of holsters and with today’s web accessibility there are many companies out there trying to make a buck, dishing out poor quality products. That is not the case with Bravo Concealment. They are a quality company that make quality custom Kydex holsters at some of the best prices you will see on the market.

I have the BCA Light Bearing OWB Kydex Holster as well as the DOS Light Bearing IWB Kydex holster for my Glock 22 with a TLR-1 light. I mostly carry the OWB (outside the waistband) holster open while at work or attending training, however, where Bravo Concealment excels is in their ability to create a holster that sits extremely close to your body, allowing me to conceal my weapon should I choose to go without having to switch to my IWB (inside the waistband) holster. Of course, the IWB holster features unique/deeper concealment abilities which is why I have both, but you could easily buy IWB belt clips and rock the same holster inside or outside the waistband with a few less conceal features.

Bravo Concealment holsters are custom Kydex with exceptional locking retention of the weapon. A forward cant enhances concealability and a medium sweat guard allows for a solid, full grip draw and aids in re-holstering. My favorite feature, however, perhaps because I am a Glock and Streamlight fan, is that all Glock and S&W M&P models equipped with a Streamlight TLR-1 can accommodate a red dot sight (RMR) or threaded barrel. Of course, this feature only aids those who carry a specific combo so if you happen to fall into that category, then congratulations.

The holsters are quality made down to the last inch. Belt loops are strong and come in a variety to fit your specific needs. A solid holster which just so happens to be manufactured in my home state of Texas (the greatest country in the world). Bravo Concealment is also proud to offer military and police discounts to qualified customers. Who better to support than a quality, patriotic, and economically priced American Company? Check them out, you will not be disappointed.
