Kestrel 3500 Weather Meter | Quick Look

The weather on Mother Earth affects everything we do, from recreational activities to tactical operations. How we manage the weather can influence the outcome of whatever activity we’re partaking in. The Kestrel 3500 Weather Meter is a handy compact instrument that is expertly calibrated to keep you aware of the weather and surrounding environment. Kestrel has been in the business of not only perfecting their instruments, but designing meters for vary specific applications. From ballistic meters for long range shooting to instruments for firefighters, Kestrel has you covered.

The Kestrel 3500 Weather Meter is designed to be a compact easy to use full function environmental weather meter. It’s diminutive size allows it to easily fit into your admin pocket on on your plate carrier or in a pants pocket. Pull off the protective rubberized sleeve on the Kestrel 3500 Weather Meter and you have access to all the pertinent environmental data to help you make the best informed decision.

Kestrel 3500 Weather Meter measures:

  • Altitude
  • Barometric Pressure
  • Dew Point
  • Heat Stress Index
  • Pressure Trend
  • Relative Humidity
  • Temperature
  • Wet Bulb Temperature (Psychrometric)
  • Wind Chill
  • Wind Speed

With only 3 buttons, the Kestrel 3500 Weather Meter is the definition of simple to use. A central on/off button also turns on a backlight that is advertised to not affect your night vision. Flanking arrow buttons allow the user to quickly scroll through the various data points listed above and the included CR2032 battery will last an average of 300 hours so power draw is obviously minimal. Also included is a lanyard and rubberized plastic protective sleeve to protect the Kestrel 3500 Weather Meter.
