Defend Your Vision with Edge Tactical Eyewear, Anti-Fog Glasses with Comfort Built-In

February 23, 2018 by Heath Layman Leave a Comment

Edge Eyewear’s Sharp Edge tactical safety glasses feature Thin Temple Technology that I found to be incredibly comfortable under my over-the-ear hearing protection.  The thin temples are perfect for wear and function under your hearing protection, guaranteeing proper noise reduction, and a comfortable fit if being worn under a helmet.

The legs of the glasses kept them in place while still being comfortable. What I found with this eyewear is that the comfort is just the start of what they’ve packed into them.

Independently Tested

Edge Tactical Eyewear has all been independently test by Military MCEPS – Safety Rated Ballistic, ANSI-Safety Rated, EN166 F CD – Safety Rated.

Don’t Fog Up!

Edge Tactical Eyewear has accomplished the industry’s first true Anti-Fog with the Vapor Shield Lenses.  The lenses are resistant to haze, fog, and condensation in the most extreme conditions and temperatures. Laboratory tests show them successfully not fogging when exposed to; -44*F for 15 minutes, transition from -44*F to 76*F, transition from 76*F to -44*F and 125*F with 80% humidity!

Polarized Technology

The glasses are polarized, blocking glare from above and reflected light from below allowing only direct light rats to enter.  This polarization provides maximized visual clarity in environments with bright sun, snow, water, or sand.

My Opinion

I’ve been wearing these glasses non-stop for the last two weeks doing various activities.  They are comfortable, they haven’t fogged up, they were comfortable under my over-the-ear hearing protection, they stayed on my head when bent over, and they’ve protected my eyes as advertised.

I’m impressed with these glasses and wish I had ordered the sunglass version of the lenses as well.

What’s it Cost?

As tested, the price point for the Sharp Edge Tactical Safety Glasses with black frame and clear lens is about $29.95.  Well worth the price to be protect your eyes, not fog up, to be comfortable, and to stay on your head.
