Founded in 2004 by three gentleman on a boat ride down the Thames. Christopher Ward continues to show the market what an affordable, Swiss ran, English built watch should look like. Christopher Ward is known to make the most affordable, most expensive watches in the world. Using movements like the famed ETA 2824-2, they circumvent […]
A couple favorites: my Sig P226 and Chronosport UDT Timer watch. The SIG P226 always felt like it was built for my hand. The Chronosport is a classic! I’ll need to track one down that’s new in box at some point. I first noticed a Chronosport on @officialslystallone wrist in Rambo III when I was a kid […]
I recently decided to upgrade from the Olight M18 Striker flashlight to something newer in the Olight lineup. I’ve carried the M18 Striker for quite some time and it never disappointed. For more on the M18, check out my review HERE. The M18 Striker is no longer available (The M1X is the replacement), so I decided […]
I grew up wanting to be an aviator but it wasn’t until I met my flight instructor (Mrs Meisner) that it became a reality. Long before I had my pilots license in hand, I still wanted to look the part. I recall asking my mother to swing by the Base Exchange at McChord AFB so […]

The eight men and seven women come from across the Army and ranks. The primary objective of the team will be recruiting, while helping soldiers who are currently serving to improve their physical conditioning […]
I’ve been carrying and using the new Gerber Barbill wallet for about a week now. I know that’s not a long time, but it’s been enough to give me a good feel for how the wallet is going to perform. I love my minimalist wallets and only carrying what I need. I’ve tried others in the past similar […]
A watch is a great way to finish off your look. Not only can watches be a lifesaver to those in the military, but they are a staple in a gentleman’s daily carry and wear. I own both the Auto Pilot and Valor from NFW and they are nothing short of rugged, dependable and bad-ass, which is why we chose them […]
We’re going to take a slightly different approach to this workout article. Instead of highlighting one of the Loadout Room writers routines, we’re going to look at what Stephan Amell did to prepare for his role as Oliver Queen in The Arrow. Now I’m not one to get all into the superheroes like I was as […]
There are numerous training guides you can purchase as well as YouTube videos highlighting fitness tips and techniques whether you’re preparing for a military selection course or just trying to maintain a certain level of fitness. Personally, I prefer to use bodyweight exercises and maintenance runs to maintain my preferred level of fitness. I recently […]
There is a major shortage of firearms in Kurdistan today; this is primarily because there is a war being waged. With the small amount being trafficked into Kurdistan and the majority of the weapons from the coalition being sent to Iraq and Syria, very few find their way into Peshmerga hands. This creates very unique problems and solutions […]
