Honey, I’m ready for Black Friday shopping at Wal-Mart. Well, maybe that’s a bit extreme but have you seen those people running/fighting for the last X-Box or PlayStation? In today’s society riots happen quickly and without much warning often escalating into armed conflict. Multi-threat protection is needed to stay safe in these environments but sadly […]
Seriously, it’s not a joke it really is hot out and it’s only going to get worse if you pay attention to world events and follow the weather patterns. A recent article from the NY Times states “At large events all over the world, the scenes of extreme heat stress are starting to look familiar. […]
Does anyone remember the old M1 “Steel Pot” helmets from WWII/Korea/Vietnam? They were a visual representation of the American fighting man, as seen on marketing and recruiting materials the world over and even in the comic strip Beetle Bailey. They were the best and only protection for your head until a Kevlar version became the […]
The Scorpion Pack isn’t just your average hip sack; it’s a beast of a bag that combines comfort with versatile carry options. Its removable waist belt, which stabilizes the 4.5L pack, features 2 rows of M.O.L.L.E. for attaching extra pouches or water bottle holders. When you need a change, simply detach the waist belt and […]

The image stabilization is top-notch, and the new features and improved optics provide an even better viewing experience. Kite has poured over a decade of […]

BAM! Ping, BAM! Ping, what better way to spend a Sunday morning with Grandson # 2 in tow? BAM! Ping, suddenly Darth Vadar’s theme music is blaring in my ears. What the ….. Devil is going on? Oh wait, these are BlueTooth ear muffs and they were/are paired with my phone that’s back in the […]
I like flashlights. NOT as much as I like knives, but I like a good EDC flashlight and thankfully there are many choices available to pick from these days. NITECORE has many flashlights but not all have the bells and whistles the MT2A PRO has. A penlight with the dual power source of 2 AA […]
