Hogue Tamer Grips

Hogue Tamer Grips

While a lot of guys and gals have long ago forsaken the revolver for the automatic it still has a special place in my heart. I could wax poetically about why I like revolvers, but you didn’t come here to read that. Today we are going to discuss revolver grips, specifically the Hogue Tamer grips. […]

Tactical Tailor Concealed Carry Sling Bag | First Look

Tactical Tailor Concealed Carry Sling Bag | First Look

Tactical Tailor is a fine purveyor of tactical gear. Easily one of the best companies for ammo pouches, vests, and of course packs. I previously reviewed the Tactical Tailor active shooter bag and found it to be a well-made piece of gear. I have high hopes for their concealed carry sling bag. The concealed carry sling […]

Kershaw Link Blackwash | First Look

Kershaw Link Blackwash | First Look

I’ve used Kershaw knives a time or two and even reviewed one HERE. I’ve always been satisfied with the way they perform, and haven’t many, or really any issues with them. I have never really paid that much attention to how a knife looks until now. The Kershaw Blackwash Series looks quite nice. In particular, I […]

Red Rock Defender Final Review

Red Rock Defender Final Review

Red Rock Outdoor Gear makes a number of different packs and bags that are genuinely well priced and well-built. I did a first look some time ago on Red Rock Defender pack and have been using it as a basic everyday carry bag. It hasn’t been stressed too much, but it has proven to be quite […]

AMK Trauma Kit - A First Look

AMK Trauma Kit – A First Look

I’m a big advocate of having a basic trauma kit pretty much everywhere. I like to have one in my house, and one in each vehicle. A basic trauma, or first aid kit, is invaluable to have. Whether it’s treating headaches from dehydration, or cleaning and bandaging a wound caused by a wild fishing hook, […]

The Claymore Bag By Combat Flip Flops

If you’ve ever had the pure pleasure of setting off a Claymore mine you are familiar with the M7 bandoliers. The M7 bandoliers is designed to carry the mighty anti-personnel mine until it’s used. Even if you’ve only ever trained with a blue body Claymore you’ve seen the Claymore bag. The bag being the M7 […]

Tactical Tailor Active Shooter Bag | First Look

Tactical Tailor Active Shooter Bag | First Look

Tactical Tailor is probably one of the most respected tactical gear manufacturers in the world. They produce extremely high-quality gear used and respected by professionals worldwide. Their Active Shooter bag is designed for police and civilian needs specifically. The bag is relatively low profile and looks like a sling bag. It does come in a […]

SpecOpShop Combat Gloves Review

SpecOpShop Combat Gloves Review

A long time ago, 19-year old me absolutely hated gloves. I would bicker and complain about them, and take them off once we left the COP. I was one of those lower enlisted who thought I didn’t need gloves, why would I? After I grew up and saw my fair share of burns I realized […]

Gerber StrongArm Fixed Blade | First Look

Gerber StrongArm Fixed Blade | First Look

Gerber is associated with two things in my world. A cute baby on everything my son had when he was a baby, and it’s often a universal term for multi-tools. In fact, if you’ve spent any time in the military you have heard the term Gerber used for any and every multi-tool. Gerber makes more […]

SpecOp Shop Combat Gloves

SpecOp Shop Combat Gloves

Combat Gloves are one of the more controversial items in the military’s PPE (Personal Protection Equipment). The controversy comes from the low enlisted trigger pullers hating gloves and the higher ups trying to protect the lower enlisted’s hands. Hands are damn valuable on a battlefield, and with an injured hand you are out of the […]
