Uncommon Weight Vest Review - Pain and Gain

Uncommon Weight Vest Review – Pain and Gain

I’ve been working out with the Uncommon Weight Vest for a little over a month now. I commonly workout 5 times a week with Wednesdays and Sundays off. I’ve used the Uncommon weight vest for 3 out of my 5 workouts. It has absolutely broken me down in workouts I used to find ‘moderately’ difficult. […]

BFG's Plate Minus Review - Comfortably concealed

BFG’s Plate Minus Review – Comfortably concealed

The Blue Force Gear Plate Minus carrier a very lightweight, and compact plate carrier. Designed to be as low profile as possible the Plate Minus carrier succeeds in its goal. This tiny plate carrier is made from Blue Force Gear’s ULTRAcomp material. ULTRAcomp is super thin and super lightweight, but it is also a 4 […]

Maglula Lula Loaders Review - Load Like a King

Maglula Lula Loaders Review – Load Like a King

Loading magazines can be the biggest pain in the ass when it comes to shooting especially with my AR9. I really love my AR9. It’s cheap to shoot, I can take it to any indoor range, and it’s perfect for training new shooters who need something more than a 22 LR, but less than a […]

The 22 Reloader Kit - It Works

The 22 Reloader Kit | Reloading Rimfire

Can you reload 22 ammunition? That is the question I asked in my first article and our first look at the 22 reloader kit. I was slightly skeptical but was somewhat surprised at the kit. The kit itself does allow you to reload 22 caliber rimfire ammunition. I’m going to answer a few questions I had about […]

The Emerson Knives PUK - Final Review

The Emerson Knives PUK – Final Review

The Emerson Knives PUK has proven to be a capable little concealed carry knife. I mentioned in my first look I felt it would be a solid compromise between the convenience of carrying a folding knife, and the strength of a fixed blade. While Police Utility Knife points out an obvious customer base that doesn’t […]

Sneaky Bags S.U.B. - Final Review

Sneaky Bags S.U.B. – Final Review

With a little time behind me on the Sneaky Bags Shoulder Utility Bag, or S.U.B. for brevity’s sake. The Sneaky Bags S.U.B. is a messenger style bag that allows you carry a fighting loadout in a covert or discrete way. I did a first look a little earlier this month, so check it out for […]

Uncommon Weight Vest - First Look

Uncommon Weight Vest – First Look

In my continuing quest to stop being a nasty civilian and get back to fighting shape, I’ve been continually finding new ways to work out. Bodyweight workouts are some of my favorite due to the functional use of your own weight. I can also do them basically anywhere, at any time, in a very small space. […]

Emerson Police Utility Knife - First Look

Emerson Police Utility Knife – First Look

Folding knives are like small guns, they’re a compromise. A compromise many of us make because it makes sense. A folding knife is easy to carry and you get a decent length of blade. Unfortunately, the folding action is the compromise. A folding knife relies on a locking system and, of course, you have to […]

The Modern IFAK - Blue Force Gear TKN Pouch

The Modern IFAK – Blue Force Gear TKN Pouch

The modern IFAK is a must have for police and military members. However, there are dozens of civilian applications for the platform as well. Anyone who likes adventuring, from rock climbing to hunting, an IFAK can be handy. Let’s not forget the average, everyday citizen who simply likes being prepared. Having an IFAK is the […]

Rhino Laces - The Last Laces You'll Ever Need

Rhino Laces – The Last Laces You’ll Ever Need

How far can you go to evolve and adapt something as old and as simple as boot laces? They have the job of simply holding your boots on your feet. Well two Wildland firefighters, Adam and Justin, found a way. I have the pleasure of working with Wildland firefighters on an almost daily basis, I’ve […]
