Duluth Pack Roll-Top Scout | Quick Look

Duluth Pack Roll-Top Scout | Quick Look

I recently received the Roll-Top Scout pack from Duluth Pack. This pack is a little different from most, but at the same time very versatile as a day pack. The biggest difference is the roll-top design; similar to how you seal a dry bag. With the unique roll-top design you are able to increase the […]

Fox Knives Folding Karambit | A Favorite Among Overseas Contractors

Fox Knives Folding Karambit | A Favorite Among Overseas Contractors

The Karambit design is an extremely effective design when used for personal defense. The curved blade will slice right through clothing and flesh with very little effort. It is not designed to stab and will not reach vital organs, but it will inflict enough damage on any threat allowing you to pop smoke and get […]

Hell-Bent Holsters | Leather EDC Tray

Hell-Bent Holsters | Leather EDC Tray

Not too long ago I published an article on the Tactical Nightstand. The idea behind the tactical nightstand is to have the necessary items at arms reach in the event of a home invasion or emergency. That requires having an organized nightstand that is not piled high with magazines and your EDC gear when you […]

Signalling for Rescue | Battle Systems MPIL Marker Panel

Signalling for Rescue | Battle Systems MPIL Marker Panel

I recently purchased an individual marker panel to carry in my day pack when headed into the woods. I did a little research before making the purchase and discovered just how useful a signal panel, such as the one from Battle Systems, can be for a day in the woods or just out for a […]

Minuteman Watches | The Jester Watch

Minuteman Watches | The Jester Watch

Two things that come to mind when I think of Manly everyday carry items is the folding knife and the watch. We have reviewed several higher end knives that would fall into this category. Today we are going to take a look at a quality timepiece that falls into that same category. When I received […]

UST StrikeForce Fire Starter Review

UST StrikeForce Fire Starter

The StrikeForce fire starter offers not only a very robust striker and ferro rod, but also a small compartment to store sure-fire tinder.

Victorinox Swiss Army Spartan

Victorinox Swiss Army Spartan

The Victorinox Swiss Army Spartan could be considered the basic full-length Swiss Army Knife upon which the manufacturer’s other models are based. I don’t find myself needing pliers on a daily basis, so this knife fits the role perfectly as a daily carry tool. It has only the tools that I use on a regular basis and it’s lightweight. The fact that it […]
