Erik Meisner’s Everyday Carry | Train Like You Fight

Fortunately I live in a state within this country that doesn’t infringe on my 2nd amendment rights to carry a concealed weapon. With the current published ISIS threat within the United States, remaining vigilant is of paramount concern every time I leave my house. This is why I stick to these basic items in my […]

Yeti Tundra Cooler

Ranger Proof Yeti Tundra Cooler

It doesn’t happen very often that a product exponentially out performs expectations, but that’s exactly what the Yeti Tundra Cooler does for a living. Yeti was founded in 2006 by 2 brothers that were frustrated with the current line of mass produced, under performing coolers on the market. These guys are outdoorsman and they understand […]

Celtic Shield Wallet

The Celtic Shield Wallet has become a part of my EDC along, with my ZT0350 knife and a few other miscellaneous items. As an added bonus for me, I will no longer be caught without my Ranger coin…

Marksmanship Training Center

Army Ranger attends Marksmanship Training Center

So you think you have what it takes to be a sniper, eh? Even before my time in 2nd Ranger Battalion, I’ve been fascinated by the notion of shooting targets at great distances. The word Sniper alone had enough mystique and sex appeal to attract a horde of Rangerettes. The Ranger sniper section was a […]

First Look | Kershaw Launch 7

Once I started writing for The Loadout Room over 2 years ago, I quickly realized how big a part of our culture EDC knives are. My first product review just happened to be a ZT 0350 knife and since then I’ve covered many additional folding knives as well a fixed blades. New for 2017 is a product from Kershaw […]

Hardened Arms | 10.5" LumaShark Upper

Hardened Arms | 10.5″ LumaShark Upper

At this years Shot Show, there was a lot of hype surrounding new products within the NEXT pavilion. One such item is a light integrated hand guard from Hardened Arms called “LumaShark”. Hardened Arms, located in the picturesque San Juan Islands of Washington State, is best known for producing a variety of high quality AR-15 uppers […]

Spyderco Yojimbo2 | Fighting Knife

Bravo Concealment DOS Torsion Holster | New Item

Bravo Concealment DOS Torsion Holster | New Item

Bravo Concealment is considered by many, the benchmark for high quality, hand-made Kydex holsters. Even Instructor Zero rocks Bravo Concealment and that dude is fast! Having used their Outside the Waist Belt (OWB) BCA holster with my EDC pistol for over a year now, I can confidently report that both long-term durability, functionality and comfort remain a 10 out of 10. […]
