Davis Tactical Kydex holsters

Davis Tactical Kydex holsters

If you need an affordable Kydex holster there are a lot of options out there. I needed something that wasn’t going to cost an arm and I could get relatively quickly on short notice. After perusing eBay, viewing the various makes and styles offered, I landed on a holster produced by Davis Tactical. I ordered an inside the waistband model holster to accommodate my Glock 27 everyday carry pistol and it arrived in the mail about two weeks later; not as fast as I would have preferred, but still relatively quick considering it was made to order. I choose to appendix carry at a near 12-1 o’clock position and the holster couldn’t be better suited for my needs.

The holster is an almost fully enclosed design, constructed out of a single piece of kydex folded in half. It features a narrow opening at the bottom and an adjustable retention screw near the trigger guard that functions excellently, giving the end-user the ability to set the holster to his desired preference. The sweat guard is unobtrusive and the sight gap can accommodate a large variety of aftermarket sights. A large paddle style belt clip keeps the holster firmly seated and is designed with an aggressive cant at the bottom, preventing it from slipping past the belt when drawing the pistol. All screws and hardware are well-made and have suffered very little wear during my time carrying it.

Overall I am extremely pleased with the purchase and it has been used daily with great comfort. I paid $25 plus shipping fees and man, what a deal for a well-made product from a small U.S. business. I would like to mention that customer service was excellent as well, when I inquired as to the status of my order after the first week; the response was thorough, friendly and expedient. I will definitely be ordering from them again should any future holster needs arise in my life.
