Why You Should Miss When Shooting: The Philosophy of Self-Training

July 9, 2018 by The Arms Guide Guest Writer Leave a Comment

If you never miss in training, you don’t know your limits. You will never realize your full potential. Lucas Botkin explains an important philosophy of self-training. The importance of pushing oneself to the point of failure.

Lucas Botkin is the founder and CEO of T.REX ARMS and the primary shooter in the company. He shoots anywhere from 2-4 days a week testing product, producing videos, working on his own skills, or training others. In 2017 he consistently shot 2000 rounds a week and some weeks more. He never plinks.

Equipment used: – BCM Rifles – Glock 19 and 17 – Leupold DeltaPoint Pro – Eotech Vudu scope – Nightforce NXS 2.5-10 – Trijicon RMR – Aimpoint T2
