Professional Gear Reviews
There was a time where a dependable semi-automatic shotgun was quite an expensive thing to own. In what seems like it took decades the reliability of the semi-auto shotgun has improved greatly, and the price itself has dropped significantly. These days you can purchase something like the Rock Island Armory VR60 for a very affordable […]
Let’s go smaller seems to be the current theme of the gun industry. Why? I ’m not sure, the industry ebbs and flows and currently smaller is better. Especially when it comes to long guns, or guns larger than traditional handguns. A big part of this current trend is folding stocks and folding stabilizing braces. […]
Ergo is stepping up their game in the shotgun department. They produce their famed adapters for AR stocks and pistol grips. My 80 percent lower build wears one of their pistol grips due to its rubber-like nature. Their pump game is on point. I recently picked up the Ergo Shockwave M-LOK Forend. This all aluminum […]
Hmm, man I never thought an AR would really excite me. AR 15s are great rifles, but let’s face it, are AR 15s truly exciting? I love them, and I have the collection of rifles, uppers, magazines, and even 80 percent lower jigs and 80 lower builds to prove it. They excite as much as […]
If you follow my writing you may know I’m a big fan of covert and low profile gear. From the Elite Survival Systems bag to the combination of Premier Armor and Tru-Spec armor shirt I really love low profile gear that accommodates something more than a Baby Glock. The Desantis DSD Rig is my newest […]
I’ve been researching the idea of Escape and Evasion. There is a lot of information out there for traditional battlefield Escape and Evasion. Outside of military members that’s not super useful to us. With the realization that the majority of us live in an Urban Environment I wanted to specifically take a few looks at […]
The Cobra 2 Tactical Marine is an interesting shotgun. Let’s go ahead and get the Marine finish out of the way because it makes the gun stand out. Marine shotguns are so named for their saltwater resistant finish. This finish also gives the weapon its unique silver look. This eye-catching finish is lovely on the Cobra […]
Modularity has really snuck into the holster market. From Alien Gear, Clinger Holsters, and Bravo Concealment have all taken the idea of modularity and applied it to holsters. The Bravo Concealment Adaptive holster system is a bit different by offering a light gearing option and being made entirely from kydex. This is a very modern […]
Sometimes a product comes out of nowhere and really catches you by surprise, especially from companies that don’t typically cross your desk. The FlipDot from NcStar was one such product. The FlipDot is a fascinating design from a company known for making very simple red dots. As the name implies the FlipDot is a red dot sight that […]
Reviewing holsters is always fun, and I really love being proven wrong when I see an idea I think is a failure. One such idea I thought was a bit too far was the Comfort Cling Holster from Clinger Holsters. I like the No Print Wonder V2, so I figured I could give them a […]
