Ravencrest Tactical “Kuro” OTF Select Series Knives

September 11, 2018 by Heath Layman Leave a Comment

Ravencrest Tactical "Kuro" OTF Select Series Knives

The Kuro (Japanese for black) Out The Front (OTF) knife is one of the newer knives from Ravencrest Tactical.

Kuro OTF is a medium size fully automatic knife made from CNC aviation aluminum brushed handles.

Smooth aluminum handles with finger grooves are strong, light, and have a gentleman’s feel to them.  Unlike the some of the other knives from Ravenscrest Tactical, the Select Series Kuro has the action placed on the face of the handle instead of the spine.  Opening the Kuro gives you a strong and consistent open and close with just one hand required for operation.  After repeated opening and closing (far more times than the knife has actually been needed since I love the way it opens and closes) it still works flawlessly.  The blade of this knife is both durable and sharp.

Ravenscrest Tactical knives coming with durable and strong pocket clips that have a deep seat in the pocket and a strong tight fit.

Ravencrest Tactical "Kuro" OTF Select Series Knives

I really enjoy the Ravencrest Tactical OTF knives and appreciate their finish, appearance, consistent operation, and attention to detail.

If you’re looking for a little smaller of a knife that has a gentlemanly appearance, consider the Kuro from Ravencrest Tactical.
