Before the dawn of time, while the world was still young, Odin All father wandered upon the land and saw that it was good. In time, Warriors came to fill the Halls of Asgard. To entertain these warriors Odin called to the Skalds across Midgard. With silver tongues they sang songs of battle and glory. With deft fingers they wove music into a tapestry of sound to accompany the mighty tales of sword-thane and spear-thane. Such Epic tales need Epic instruments, and a manner to carry them. No sturdier, unassuming case could be found than the Hazard 4. Crafted with Invista® 1000D Cordura®, this bag is bombproof. I have tossed, tugged, squished, smashed and crushed this case, it is still holding strong. Even more importantly, it has kept its precious cargo safe. The ‘Axe’ inside, nestled safe as a drunken heathen passed out by the fires on the meadhall floor.
Do you want pockets? This divine cordura carrier has storage pockets galore. There are three pockets on the top of the case. The larger bottom pocket opens to an organizer type backdrop. Enough space to carry optics or cleaning supplies.
When you open the case, the first thing you will see inside is a padded ‘loop’ liner. Any item with a ‘hook’ back will stick to the insert. Including patches, so go wild with this large hook & loop surface.
When you fold this lining over, you get to the Axe craddle.
There is thick webbing that runs down the length of the interior. You can adjust the straps to fit your rifle, depending on length. The carrier will accommodate any Axe up to 40″ long. The sides are lined with ‘loop’ attachments as well, so an aspiring Skald can modify the carrier to fit their needs.
If you are looking for a more inconspicuous way to carry your Axe around town, look no further than the Hazard 4 Battle Axe case. The only real gripe that I can come up with is, given the cost of the case, it seems kind of silly to charge an extra 20 bones for the shoulder strap. Sometimes an aspiring Skald must make sacrifices. Surely with this case a Skald could sing a battle song that would easily woo the ears of Odin and please those feasting in the Halls of Asgard.
