First Tactical Sets a New Standard For Women’s Tactical Clothing

December 4, 2024 by Fred Rowlands Leave a Comment

When it comes to tactical gear for women, the industry has often fallen short—literally. Ill-fitting apparel designed for men, hastily adapted for women, just doesn’t cut it. But First Tactical has stepped up to the plate, delivering purpose-built gear like the Women’s V2 Pro Performance Short Sleeve Shirt and Women’s V2 EMS Pant. These pieces aren’t just tactical in name; they’re designed to handle the demands of real-world performance, all while offering a tailored fit for women who work hard and expect their gear to work even harder.

Women’s V2 Pro Performance Short Sleeve Shirt: Lightweight Durability with No Compromise

This isn’t your average short-sleeved shirt. The V2 Pro Performance Short Sleeve Shirt is a testament to how First Tactical gets it right for women in the field. Made from a lightweight polyester and cotton blend, this shirt is built to endure. It’s tough enough to handle long shifts, hot days, and rough terrain—but let’s not overlook its comfort factor. The shirt’s material is breathable and moisture-wicking, so you’re not left sweating through your gear while the mission’s heating up.

Fit and Functionality:
Tailored specifically for a woman’s body, the V2 Pro Performance Shirt eliminates that boxy, one-size-fits-all nonsense. It’s got gusseted underarms and just the right amount of stretch, giving you a full range of motion whether you’re reaching for gear or working through a tactical situation. And with its stain-repellent fabric finish, this shirt is ready to keep you looking squared away even when things get messy.

Unique and Useful Functions Built In

Thoughtful Details:
The hidden document pockets are a game-changer. Whether you’re carrying field notes, ID, or just need a secure spot for personal items, the storage is practical and discreet. The button-up front with a professional collar ensures you’ll look sharp during duty hours without sacrificing functionality. First Tactical even added bartack reinforcements at critical stress points, so you know this shirt will stand up to the grind.

Women’s V2 EMS Pants: Built for Emergency Responders

EMS professionals know the value of reliable pants—gear failure is not an option. Enter the Women’s V2 EMS Pant, purpose-engineered to meet the demands of first responders. These pants are crafted with a 2-way mechanical stretch fabric that’s not only durable but also comfortable enough for those long hours on the move.

Durability Meets Design:
The fabric blend offers abrasion resistance while maintaining enough flexibility to let you hustle without restrictions. Double-stitched seams and a Teflon™ Shield+ finish make these pants nearly indestructible. They repel stains, liquids, and dirt, which is a godsend when your job keeps you knee-deep in the action.

Pockets Galore:
First Tactical didn’t skimp on storage. With 17 pockets, there’s a dedicated place for all your tools and essentials, from shears and gloves to flashlights and multitools. These pockets aren’t just randomly slapped on, either—they’re designed for easy access in high-stress moments. The thigh-mounted cargo pockets are perfect for quick grabs, while the internal organizer keeps smaller items secure and within reach.

Pockets and More Pockets

Fit for the Female Frame:
As with the V2 Pro Performance Shirt, the EMS Pant was designed with a woman’s fit in mind. A contoured waistband ensures the pants stay put without digging in, and the stretch panels in key areas mean you’ll have zero issues bending, squatting, or running when duty calls. Plus, the adjustable hem lets you customize the length for a perfect fit, because not everyone is rocking the same inseam.

Our Testing: I say “our testing” but I mean my wife and daughter’s testing showed they really do stand up to punishment. My daughter used her pants and shirts when she was working weekends for a friend. Remodeling a restaurant, cooking, painting etc everything she did the pants proved a huge help to her. They allowed free movement and didn’t bunch, they were easy to clean and wear and proved an asset when she was working.  She’s just to embarrassed to take a picture with the pants because she got paint all over them and that’s the only thing that won’t fully wash out.

My Wife likes the pants but uses the shirts more and gets many compliments when she wears them to the office.  She likes them because they feel good, wear great, are easy to care for and present a great professional appearance.

Just Home From The Office And Still Smiling

Final Verdict: Function and Form in Harmony

First Tactical’s Women’s V2 Pro Performance Short Sleeve Shirt and V2 EMS Pant prove that tactical gear doesn’t have to compromise between durability, functionality, and fit. They’ve nailed the details, creating apparel that’s built to perform and tailored to women’s needs—a rare combination in a market saturated with poorly adapted unisex options.

Whether you’re suiting up for a shift in the field or just want reliable gear that’ll work as hard as you do, these pieces are worth every penny. First Tactical isn’t just raising the bar; they’re redefining it for women in the tactical community.
