My EDC used to be heavier than it is now, but I’ve learned to ‘cut the fat’ through training, practice, and education. My EDC is a pretty basic setup compared to most, but that is because I prefer simple which leads to being habitual with carrying it. Every morning I walk down the steps, into […]
Anytime you travel to remote areas, communication is often compromised. It’s a concern I have wherever I may be. As a former Ranger, communication was paramount for a successful mission. Nothing has changed since those days except the technology. Even with modern smart phones, travel to countries with a limited network will render them useless. […]
Ah, supplements — to the uninitiated, they seem like powdered steroids dispensed via that obnoxious shaker the religiously “fit” among us are always carrying around the office instead of a coffee cup. To the beginner, they offer the promise of expedited progress, or even progress you could never do without the aid of science and […]
What on earth is fiber anyways? Isn’t it that thing that makes you have to go number two more often? Well, sort of. But it does so much more in your body than just that. I want to get down to the nitty gritty of fiber and why it is SO important to eat a […]
The ProTac HL-X packs a stout 1,000 lumens in a durable EDC package. I find it to be just the right size for an EDC flashlight that you can wear on your belt or have in your pocket. Gatorz Eyewear is most proud to serve customers who fight for our country and the safety of our communities each day. These frames honor those individuals and the work they do. The Tesla Roadster, the world’s first highway-capable all-electric car available in the United States, is displayed on its production debut in the Tesla Flagship Store on May 1, 2008 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Vince Bucci/Getty Images) Do you subscribe to the notion that the internal combustion engine/fossil fuel will soon be replaced as the […]
A few months back I was looking for something to hold my pocket stuff that I would unload when I got home. My usual MO is to just unload it onto the kitchen counter and leave it there until the next time I go out. That wasn’t being received as domestically acceptable anymore so I […]
I am pleased to announce that the Department of Defense has finished their review of my second novel, True Believer, slated for release on July 30th, 2019. It is now “cleared as amended” which means the DoD Office of Prepublication and Security Review redacted certain sentences and paragraphs for security reasons. For True Believer, the DoD redacted […]
