The Bastion EDC Glass Breaker

November 30, 2018 by Travis Pike Leave a Comment

The Bastion EDC Glass Breaker

Sometimes you just need a tool that can break some shit. If that’s something you desire then a tool made by Bastion and sold by Ready Man is likely something you’ll appreciate. This knuckle based tool is designed to break glass, faces, and other similar things. Unlike a full knuckle duster, this tool covers a single knuckle, and unironically it’s the middle finger. The Bastion EDC Glass Breaker is convenient to carry and well made. It’s just a literal hunk of aluminum with a hole in the middle.

Simplicity is akin to effectiveness in many different ways. There are only so many ways to make your hands more lethal and in that case, simple is better. To top it off, literally, is a glass breaking tungsten carbide tip. Tungsten carbide is a glass breaker because it’s much harder than glass and can break through auto glass with a bit of effort. It won’t break even if it’s used over and over.

It also adds a little sting if used in a self-defense situation. Tungsten carbide is harder than both glass and most faces. It gives your punch a bit of extra sting and delivers a hard blow to any faces or glass that comes between it.

Its a simple tool with a simple purpose and in many cases it’s a successful one. If you need to hit something harder than usual the Bastion EDC Glass Breaker does as promised.

The Bastion EDC tool is handy for self-defense, and it’s also a bottle opener of all things. Flip it over and you can pop a top. Hopefully using the bottle opener never leads to using the impact tool.

One issue that will without a doubt be a problem is trying to carry this tool daily. The carbide tip will likely rip and tear the inside of most pockets. Luckily, the tool is designed to be carried on the belt. It clips over the belt for easy access and is remarkably easy to hide when necessary.

The Bastion EDC Glass Breaker

The Bastion EDC Glass breaker tool may not be legal where you live. It may be considered a brass knuckle or knuckle duster upsetting the laws of some states. However, if you can carry this tool its a brilliant and convenient weapon for self-defense where a gun or knife can’t be used. The tool has no problems destroying a face, glass, or popping a top.
