Photo of the day: A simple and effective daily carry

A simple and effective daily carry

The gear shown in the above photo is more or less what I carry on a daily basis. With these items, I’m prepared to handle most daily tasks as well as defend myself. With the flashlight aside all my gear is proudly made in the USA. Here is a breakdown of the items and links […]

The Wilderness Frequent Flyer Belt

The Wilderness Frequent Flyer Belt | A non-metallic, security friendly everyday belt

The cornerstone of the modern man’s everyday carry is his belt. A quality belt not only keeps your pants up, but also provides a stable platform for your everyday carry tools to include a concealed carry firearm. Those who conceal carry a firearm require a quality belt in order to keep the firearm supported close to the body to […]

Kyle Defoor Talks Mindset

Kyle Defoor Talks Mindset

When we think about concealed carry and our everyday carry we tend to levitate towards all the cool gear, weapons, and clothing available. Not to take away from those, they play an important role in your loadouts. One of the more overlooked subjects when building your loadout is Mindset. We’ve all heard the term mindset and situational awareness before. […]

Everyday Carry | Always Have a Blade

Everyday Carry | Always Have a Blade

We’ve done a few EDC articles in the past where we covered the basics. Those basics typically included: a knife, handgun, and light. I’ve read several fiction thrillers in the past, but get halfway through and end up losing interest and shelve the book. Not the case […]

A Navy SEALs Guide to Mastering Fear

A Navy SEALs Guide to Mastering Fear | Learning to swim

I grew up on the water. Love it, spent my childhood in it, and a good chunk of my adulthood, too. But there’s a reason people use water when they want to drive you to the edge of sanity and break your spirit. If I say, “I’m going to drape a cloth over your mouth […]

A Navy SEALs Guide to Mastering Fear

A Navy SEALs Guide to Mastering Fear | Night Ops over the Persian Gulf

It’s nighttime over the Persian Gulf, summer of 1995. The four of us— pilot, copilot, another crewman, and me— have been out in our H-60 Seahawk helicopter doing sonar ops. It’s been a long night, and we need to refuel on a nearby destroyer before heading back to the aircraft carrier we’re calling home. The […]
