Fire Bag by The Hidden Woodsmen | Review

Fire Bag by The Hidden Woodsmen | Review

There are several essentials that a woodsman needs to have in order to survive long periods of time detached from society in the wilderness. One of these essentials is that of fire, which has been used as a tool for advancement since the earliest of inhabitants roamed the earth. It has helped feed tribes of people, build cities, and win wars. Without the ability to create and harness it, early settlers would have never expanded outwards to create the great nation we live in today.

The Hidden Woodsmen has once again taken the gear that helped our ancestors and given it a facelift for the modern user. The Fire Bag is similar to the other products offered by The Hidden Woodsmen in the fact that it is made out of very durable material. In this case, 1000D Nylon construction is used to make sure the bag lasts for a long time.

Fire Bag by The Hidden Woodsmen | Review

The Fire Bag is designed to carry anything that you use in your fire kit to help start a fire at your base camp or in an emergency situation. I have stocked mine with items such as a lighter, waterproof matches, cotton balls, Fiber Light, and a ferro rod. The bag is the perfect size to be convenient and it comes in a variety of colors. Since it is water-resistant, you won’t have to worry about your fire kit being compromised like you would if you simply carried it in a plastic bag.

You can also use the Fire Bag to carry small tinder, maps, or just as a general purpose ditty bag with all your miscellaneous items. Regardless of how you choose to use it, it is a very affordable piece of gear that is likely to last longer than you would expect. Like all of The Hidden Woodsmen products, it’s made in the United States using American materials. The quality is top-notch and I assure you that you won’t be disappointed in supporting this small business and choosing them for your outdoor needs.

The Fire Bag measures in at 6 x 7 inches and is currently available for $13 in Orange, Red, Grey, Royal Blue, and Multicam Black. Get yours now from The Hidden Woodsmen and be sure to follow their product line on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube!
