Utah-based manufacturer Cobalt Kinetics, best known for its rifles, is getting into the accessory game by releasing a range of gear for the AR-15.
Up until this point, Cobalt has kept its proprietary furniture and accessories exclusive to its own rifle builds. Due to popular demand, however, the company is now making the most requested upgrades available for individual sale.
Cobalt’s engineers redesigned and re-engineered these accessories to make them universally compatible for all the AR custom shops and home builders out there, the press release says.
The list of available gear includes universal fit rifle stocks—adjustable and fixed—based on the EDGE and TEAM rifles; the Pro Billet Grip which is featured on the TEAM build; the Pro Buffer System; and all of Cobalt’s current muzzle brakes, including the EDGE Brake; B.A.M.F. – 5.56 Linear Compensator; B.A.M.F. – 7.62 Linear Compensator; and the Pro Muzzle Brake.
All of these accessories are finished in black. The aluminum parts are cerakoted, and steel parts are finished in Lithium-Iron surface conversion.
Prices vary from $75 (B.A.M.F. Linear Compensator 5.56) to $320 (Adjustable Billet Stock).
This is all just the tip of the iceberg, Colbat says.
“We actually have a lot more in the works. Watch for the release of our hand-guard, this will be out soon in universal format. Also keep an eye out for some variants of our Pro Grip and .30 caliber Pro Brake,” Cobalt’s VP Skylar Stewart teased.
