5.11 Tactical Range Master WP Shoes

5.11 Tactical Range Master WP Shoes

5.11 Tactical Range Master WP Shoes. The WP designation identifies these shoes as being water proof. These shoes work really well for a day out on the trail whether you’re hiking, running or fast packing. These paired with my quarter height FITS Sock Co. wool socks make an unbeatable combo.

The shoes themselves are lightweight and easy on the feet when worn for long periods of time. This is important when on a long day hike or full day on the range running and gunning.

The soles are aggressive enough for what they are designed for, but not too much to where they collect dirt, debris and mud.

5.11 Tactical Range Master WP Shoes

These are mid height GTX style shoes, so they can be comfortably worn with quarter height socks. There is also a nicely designed finger hold to assist when pulling the shoes onto your feet.

From 5.11 Tactical Website:

A high-performance training boot that doubles as everyday casual wear. Engineered from durable ripstop nylon, with Clarino leather overlays and an eVent® waterproof, breathable lining, this boot will help you train, while keeping you dry and safe. A CMEVA midsole and nylon shank provide stability, and an Ortholite® insole enhances comfort. Arch and climbing lugs, a heel brake, heel drop, and a broadened forefoot ensure acceleration, traction, and balance. A boot that makes you better.

I’m going to continue to wear these shoes throughout the spring and summer to see how they hold up.
