We recently brought you the news that Salomon will debut new color variants for its Speed Assault and Jungle Ultra models in 2017. Now, the sports equipment maker is upping the ante with the new Urban Jungle Ultra boot, which is slated for release in the Fall/Winter of 2017.
According to Soldier Systems, this all-black utility boot — part of Salomon’s Forces footwear line — is designed specifically for police, SWAT teams and other operators who are looking for a durable, reliable, heavy-duty footwear solution.
The Urban Jungle Ultra boasts an eight-inch upper, a mesh tongue which is breathable yet durable, a protective rubber heel and a breathable collar. Meanwhile, this boot also also features a Contragrip sole which provides excellent traction and helps to prevent slipping on problematic terrain. It’ll look great on virtually any uniform. It’s time to get excited, folks.
