SportDOG Brand® NoBark SBC-R Collar: Silent Partner™ technology

SportDOG announced today that their newest electronic bark-control collar – the NoBark SBC-R, is available for purchase. Engineered as a safe and effective way to correct unwanted barking, the NoBark SBC-R collar uses Silent Partner™ technology to provide the most reliable bark detection available.

“The new NoBark SBC-R collar features the most advanced digital bark-detection software currently on the market,” said Clay Thompson, SportDOG Category Manager. “Unlike anything before it, the SBC-R quickly determines your dog’s unique bark, and filters out all the rest, so it’ll perform in either a single-dog home, or a kennel full of barkers.”
The new bark collar utilizes a user-friendly OLED display that clearly shows the current mode of operation, level of stimulation (1-10,) and the unit’s battery status. Additionally, the NoBark SBC-R lets you to customize the type of bark control that works best for your dog by allowing you to choose from 3 programmable training modes: Temperament Learning, Progressive Correction, and User-Selected.
In Temperament Learning mode, the correction starts at the lowest level and increases to the next level each time the dog barks within 30 seconds of the previous bark. By remembering the correction level needed to stop the dog from barking, the collar will start at the last/highest level used once activated. The static stimulation level will be reduced 30 seconds after your dog stops barking.
In Progressive Correction mode, the correction starts at the lowest level and increases up one level each time the dog barks within 30 seconds of the previous bark. If the dog doesn’t bark again within 30 seconds, the correction automatically resets to the lowest level.
In User-Selected mode, owners manually choose the correction level needed.
The new SBC-R is waterproof and submersible to a depth of 10 feet. It’s operated by a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery that charges in two hours, via an included adaptor and charging cradle, and lasts 200 hours per charge. Also included are user-changeable contact points, for customization to dogs with short or long coats. For peace of mind, the bark collar boasts a built-in safety feature that ensures if the dog barks 15 times or more within an 80 second period, the  SBC-R will stop issuing static stimulation for 30 seconds and then resume normal operation.
The NoBark SBC-R collar has an MSRP of $94.95 and is available from major outdoor retail stores and online.
