Concealed Carry

The PF-1, a New Standard in Concealed Carry Bags

June 20, 2024 by Fred Rowlands Leave a Comment

Evil can strike when you least expect it. Whether you’re at church, the supermarket, a movie theater, or just walking down the street, you need to be prepared for anything.

Carrying a concealed weapon isn’t always practical, especially if your clothes don’t offer adequate concealment such as summertime clothing in NW Florida or any beach town. That’s when having your EDC CCW in a bag becomes the perfect solution. But in a crisis, drawing your weapon might not be enough—you might also need ballistic body armor to protect your torso and vital organs.

Enter the PF-1 (Protect Fast One) Armored EDC CCW bag, a game-changer designed by Israeli Special Forces Counter Terrorism Major Itay Gil. This innovative bag offers ultra-fast access to your concealed weapon while providing ballistic body armor protection for your center mass and pelvic region.

Available Ballistic Shields

The fast-access deployment strap lets you open the bag in under a second. With a bit of practice, you can draw your weapon in less than two seconds.  As with any new carry option practice is recommended but I can attest that 2 seconds is attainable.

Features Include:

Concealed Carry Ready
Available with (2) 6×8″ Level IIIA Dual Threat (Ballistic/Stab) Panels
Seven (7) Compartments
Integrated Holster Pouch
Heavy Duty 1000D Construction
Heavy Duty Zippers
Water Resistant
Breathable Maxx-Dri Lining on Rear
Dual Grab Handles (Top and Bottom)
Functional Storage & Organization
Dimensions (empty): 12″ x 11″ x 3″

The PF-1 has specialized clips on the strap for lightning-fast adjustments and multiple pockets for carrying first aid gear or other equipment. I’ve been using the PF1 now for over two months and that’s what makes it so useful.  I’ve room for my phone, old man glasses, flashlight and still more room for items I get while I’m out in town, lending to it’s “concealability”.

My previous CCW bag didn’t have that, it was fairly obvious that it was a tactical bag with no option of having both hands free while using it in most scenarios, and when I did deploy it across my chest the protection was limited.

Vehicle Deployment Meant One Hand For Weapons Use

Using the PF1 affords me better protection and more options, whether using the pistol from the bag or the rifle stored in my TruckVault, multiple options are now viable where they weren’t before.

Both Hands Free For Weapons Deployment, Communication, or Both

Truly a game changer, the PF1 from 221B Tactical offers options not available in other CCW options.  For complete thoughts and other uses check out our review here:
