First Look: Nikon BLACK FX1000 6-24×50SF Long Range Rifle Scope

Nikon’s BLACK FX1000 6-24×50SF is engineered for both precision long-range rifle and action-shooting AR enthusiasts. With great glass, first focal plane reticle and return-to-zero integral zero-stop precision turrets, the FX1000 has all the quality features you want for long range at half the price of competitive scopes.

BLACK series rifle scopes all feature a 30mm main body tube built with aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and Type 3 hard anodizing, providing exceptional ruggedness and optimum strength-to-weight ratios. Each riflescope has an optical system built from Nikon’s lead- and arsenic-free glass, which is optimized with the company’s full multi-layer coating on all air-to-glass lens surfaces. Spring-loaded instant zero-reset turrets provide precise, repeatable corrections.

Engineered to deliver your longest shots with confident precision, the new BLACK FX1000 is competition-ready straight from the box, BLACK FX1000 integrates renowned Nikon optics into its first focal plane optical system for tack-sharp images and dialing functionality at any magnification and distance.

Proprietary new glass-etched tactical reticles paired with precise, high-speed turrets allow fast, repeatable distance corrections and intuitive hold-off points. And for rapid return to your zero, the FX1000 debuts Nikon’s all-new BLACK Return-to-Zero integral zero-stop in the elevation turret. Sunshade included.

Nikon’s proprietary FX-MOA and FX-MRAD reticles were created expressly for the first focal plane optical system used in the BLACK FX1000 riflescope. Each reticle is designed to optimize the sight picture and provide the tools necessary for ranging, holdover and windage corrections. The maximum internal adjustment is 17 milliradians.

Illuminated reticle models with side-mounted control offer 10 intensity levels of red illumination with OFF switch between each step for quick, easy brightness adjustments. Extremely durable, yet fine and detailed reticle design that maintains color and contrast in all light conditions.

High Speed Turrets with Integral Zero Stop

Windage and elevation turrets provide 10 MRAD adjustments per revolution (17 MRAD max. internal adjustment) and are clearly marked for quick adjustments. Features an all-new return-to-zero stop for rapid return to zero.

Constant, Generous Eye Relief

Constant, generous eye relief keeps your brow safe and provides good sight picture for various shooting positions.

Waterproof, Fogproof and Shockproof

O-ring sealed to prevent moisture from entering body and nitrogen purged for total reliability against thermal shock.
Shockproof construction shrugs off hard recoil and rugged use.

The BLACK FX1000 features a Side Focus Parallax Adjustment, which allows adjustment without changing shooting position and Illuminated control with 10 intensity levels with incremental “OFF” between settings, allowing you to be at your favorite illumination setting with “OFF” rotating in either direction.
