CMMG RipBrace: The Optimal Choice for AR Pistols

November 27, 2018 by Mark Miller Leave a Comment

The RipBrace adjustable AR arm brace features CMMG’s FASTBACK Technology that allows users to simply pull straight back to extend the brace into a pre-selected custom position without pressing a release lever.  Approved by ATFE, this instant deployment is a one-of-a-kind feature that makes the RipBrace an optimal choice for any AR pistol designated for personal defense.

You want the length on your brace to fit your body for a consistent firing position. Personal position presets (P3 Technology) allows shooters to place a screw into different adjustment holes to ensure the stock extends to the same preferred position each time.

CMMG RipBrace: The Optimal Choice for AR Pistols
CMMG Standard RipBrace: on New Frontier Armory AR Pistol

These braces provide solid and adjustable support for one and two-handed shooting with an ATFE approval letter. I have used mine with .5.56 and in 9mm with the Mean Arms Endo-Mag conversion. RipBrace works exactly as advertised and provides a comfortable and well-designed arm brace.

The RipBraceKit includes everything you need to install it:
  • CMMG Compact RipBrace
  • Fastback Adjustable 5-Position Tube
  • P3 Indexing Screw
  • Spring and Buffer
  • Ambidextrous Sling Plate
  • Castle Nut

CMMG offers two different variations of RipBrace:

The micro version of the RipBrace is intended for pistol caliber carbines and any AR pistol in which minimizing overall length is a priority.  It has five personal preset positions for a customized stopping point when extended.

The standard version of the RipBrace, shown above, is 1.25″ longer, when extended, than the compact version.  It is the perfect for large caliber AR pistols and shooters who prefer more length. It has six personal preset positions for a customized stopping point when extended.

You can get your very own RipBrace HERE   MSRP $199.95
