Uberti USA 1886 Big-Bore Lever-Action Repeaters for Hunters and Collectors

As part of the 2017 new-product lineup, Uberti USA is proud to introduce faithful replicas of the legendary Winchester 1886 big-bore lever-action repeater. The purpose of this new offering is to give traditionalist big-game hunters the opportunity to pursue their favorite quarry with a repeater chambered for a commonly-available rifle caliber, the .45/70.

The 1886 will be available in two verstions: the full-length 1886 Sporting Rifle and the compact 1886 Hunter Lite Rifle, the latter weighing only slightly more than a common semi-auto shotgun. Both models feature A-Grade walnut stocks and deep, rich color case finishes. The Sporting Rifle version is equipped with a full-size 26-inch octagon barrel with adjustable sights and has a capacity of 8+1. The more petite Hunter Lite configuration features adjustable sights atop a 22-inch round barrel along with a shorter magazine with a 3+1 capacity. As was true 131 years ago, these rifles are ideal for hunting any game in North America, from whitetail deer to big bears and anything in between. The rifles are capable of handling Level 2 .45/70 loads (29,000 CUP/PSI max, rated for both smokeless and black powder), delivering enough knock-down power to take any game up to 200 yards.
To make accurate shooting easier, both models come drilled and tapped for receiver-mounted Lyman peep sights just like the originals. By delivering match-grade accuracy, balanced handling as well as premium fit and finish, Uberti USA’s 1886 Big-Bore Lever-Action Repeaters are ideal for hunters, shooters and collectors looking for a premium product that will turn heads at the range and in the field. Featuring Uberti USA’s exclusive 5-year warranty, the 1886 Sporting Rifle has an MSRP of $1,959 and the 1886 Hunter Lite has an MSRP of $1,899.
