Tracking Point: This System Is Smart

Tracking Point: This System Is Smart - TheArmsGuide.com

The Tracking Point Networked Tracking Scope is so remarkable in its capacity for precision shooting, I felt it merited revisiting in greater detail. Here is some more on what the Tracking Point includes with their XactSystem Precision Guided Firearm Package.

Each system is built around a Surgeon Rifle with either a Krieger cut-rifled MTU or Palma profile barrel, chambered for .338 Lapua Magnum or .300 Win Mag, with a Harris bipod. The heart of the Tracking Point system is, of course, the Tracking Point Networked Tracking Scope itself, but it also includes a guided trigger, tag button, and barrel reference system. In addition to the rifle system, with each PGF (Precision Guided Firearm), Tracking Point includes a Pelican case, and 200 rounds of Barnes ammunition, loaded to +/- 10 fps standard deviation muzzle velocity.

Not surprisingly, all this setup costs a pretty penny. But, if you have about $18-23k to burn, check out these vids on what the Tracking Point Precision Guided Firearm systems can do. Pretty nifty, no?

Tracking Point allows you to tag your shots, track them, and then fire when alignment is ideal.

And when you make your “perfect shot,” you can watch it on your phone and even share it with others: the Tracking Point records each shot.

P.S. Santa, consider this post my Christmas list for this year. *crosses fingers*
