Nikon just changed the laser rangefinder game with the introduction of its new 3,000 Yard STABILIZED Rangefinder, the MONARCH 3000. When you think about training to use a firearm to stop a lethal threat, it’s healthy to think of it as serious business…because it is.

My local FFL just acquired 4 Glock 19X models and I promptly went down to get some hands on with the MHS Glock. If this gun hadn’t lost the MHS competition I likely wouldn’t be super interested, but I had to see it. It’s an interesting design that’s been getting equal levels of flack and love. First impressions were mixed. The 19X has a slick FDE box, 3 FDE magazines, two outfitted with +2 extensions, and the gun itself looks great.
