New AR-15 Owners Guide: Weapons Lights

In this edition of the New AR-15 Owners Guide, we follow along with Nate from Haley Strategic as he goes over a quick talk about weapons light selection. The subject of weapons lights can make some people to roll their eyes in disgust. Not everyone needs or wants a light on their main battle rifle, but if you decide that you do want or need one you should pay attention. Correctly setting one up with the proper mount and style of light could be the difference between hitting or missing your target. On the range this may just result in some frustration but if you ever need to rely on that light and rifle combination in a life or death situation that could yield tragic results.

One of the things that Travis and Nate have repeated over and over is that you need to set up your rifle for your particular shooting type and for you as an individual. Training with a rifle that is uncomfortable or incorrectly set up for you does nothing but enhance your chances at failure. Haley Strategic as well as other professional instructors are telling students more frequently to make the rifle an extension of you as a person. This video is only 3:44 of your life, and it is worth your time to watch it, as Nate said this is just the first video on weapons lights, there will be more to follow.
