The rounds are topped by 168 grain Sierra MatchKing boat-tail hollow points (BTHP), a projectile design commonly precision reloaders as well as military snipers who are trusted to take the most important shots in modern conflicts. BTHP rounds reduce drag in flight for longer range and repeatable accuracy and also tend to fragment in a target after entry (though these rounds are not ideal for hunting as they will remove or ruin lots of meat).
