PRE-ORDERS OPEN: Glock Blocker: TorkMag G-BLOCK Mag Well Conversion For ARs

The TorkMag Team has opened pre-orders for their revolutionary new G-Block.  This device converts a conventional AR magwell to accept a modified Glock magazine to operate with a 9mm AR upper. AR conversions have been around awhile but they used the less reliable and more expensive Colt pattern SMG magazines.
The G-Block kit delivers a market-first capability: you need a new lower to build a Glock mag pistol caliber AR.  Put a G-Block in your  milspec AR15 lower, add  a 9mm or .40 S&W upper with Glock-cut bolt and you are shooting with Glock mags.

The cost of buying a pistol-caliber carbine has just been cut in half. The G-Block requires no permanent changes to your lower. With the included cutting guide, Glock magazines can be altered to interface with any milspec AR15 magazine catch in under a minute.
TorkMag’s G17 magazines are also compatible out of the box with AR mag catches. Each kit ships with polymer magwell blocks mated to a steel fixed ejector, a mag-cutting guide, and a hex key for press fitting the magwell blocks in position. TorkMag strongly advises modifying only OEM Glock factory magazines.

PLEASE READ THIS: due to some hold-ups with TorkMag’s normal payment processing partner, they’re using a Paypal shopping cart for G-Block pre-orders. Select the Paypal icon at the end of checkout and fill out the information required in the pop-up.

TorkMag 20-rd polymer Glock 17 magazines will be compatible with the G-Block out of the box and will be available for ordering during the summer.

I can’t wait.  You will read about it as soon as I get mine.

About TorkMag:  Torkmag is a firearms accessory company based in Southwest Florida. The dual spring magazine began as a personal project of owner and product designer Jarret Mock, but it soon became clear that it could be a valuable contribution to the magazine market.

TorkMag was officially incorporated in 2014 when the final mag design was complete, and the first mags shipped in fall 2015. Along with admin/sales manager Sarah Meholick and a small manufacturing team, Jarret is currently expanding TorkMag‘s product lines.
