The Handgunner Backpack from G.P.S. Wild About Shooting

June 5, 2018 by Heath Layman Leave a Comment

The Handgunner Backpack from G.P.S. Wild About Shooting

I’m pretty wild about shooting and I teach both NRA pistol and rifle shooting to civilians and law enforcement.  I was looking for a solution to having 3 or 4 bags to haul my pistols to the range. I found that having the guns in sleeves, holsters, cases, etc. took up too much space, became a convoluted mess, and was very chaotic.  I stumbled across the Handgunner Backpack from G.P.S. Wild About Shooting while scrolling through endless google images trying to find a solution.

I purchased the backpack and was thrilled with the product when it arrived.  It exceeded my expectations with high quality stitching, zippers, and materials.

The Handgunner Backpack seems to have been designed by someone that actually shoots and not someone that’s just looking to make a buck. If these guys don’t shoot, than they actually listen to people that do.

The “Visual I.D. System.”  The G.P.S. Wild About Shooting products all feature a unique visual I.D. system.  This clever system consists of sewn on patches at custom “built for” compartments that just work!  These custom compartments that are easily identified by the logo are things like; eye protection, tools, 12 extra magazines, stapler, hearing protection, rain cover, tacks, tape, ammo cup, and targets.  The compartments just work and make sense.

When the teaching show goes on the road and I have to take several pistols and other materials with me to the range and it can be a challenge.  With the Handgunner Backpack, it’s a breeze to load up four pistols in the unique foam cradle of the lower compartment and all my other usually needed equipment, put on the backpack and carry everything else I might need.  The compartments being marked with suggested content actually helps me not forget things.  I love this backpack!

When you take the backpack off and need to get items out, the backpack easily stands up on its own.  If the weather changes, slide the included rain cover out of the top lid and keep everything dry.  Need some targets with you, store them on the provided straps on the side of the pack.

Once back home, it’s a breeze to slide the four pistols out while still in the foam cradle and place them all back into the safe for storage.

Did I mention I love this backpack?  If not, I love this backpack.

MSRP $120.00 but can be found for as low as $89.99.  If you’re on the fence about getting this pack – don’t be, it’s worth the money.  I’ve been using my pack for several months now with heavy use and it doesn’t show any signs of wear or tear.

Don’t just invest in toys, tools, ammunition, and equipment – invest in yourself and find a quality training course.  Load up everything you’ll need in your GPS Wild About Shooting Handgunner Backpack and get out to the range!
