The Mk3 features a Premium 24″ 416 stainless steel heavy taper profile barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor. The Mk3 DTR2 is equipped with CMMG’s own SV muzzle brake and RML15 M-Lok hand guard. Every DTR2 rifle has a Geissele SSA 2-Stage trigger, Magpul MOE pistol grip and Magpul PRS buttstock installed.
The big Plano makes TSA happy with two key lockable heavy-duty, dual-stage latches. The case also features built-in pressure-release valves and molded padlock gates for airline travel. The 52-inch model has molded handles and easy-glide wheels.
Plano’s All Weather cases come standard with soft pluck-able foam pre-scored into small cubes for simple do-it-yourself custom case interiors that hug and protect your gear. I like this feature, but I have to carry different guns, so I prefer to leave the cubes in place and compress the foam.
