This is an M1917 my grandpa bought from the CMP in the 50s for $12. It has signal corps markings on the .455 Webley barrel. Somewhere along the way, it got a .45ACP cylinder. Needs moon clips to get proper headspace. Has a very smooth, heavy double action trigger and a single action trigger that puts 1911s to shame.
It was carried in WWI, dispatched many West Texas rattlesnakes, and the first handgun I ever shot. Its grandpas gun and now its mine.
