Unique features: The X4 provides a generous amount of lumbar support, allowing the wearer to keep the pack close to the body for a lower profile. Overall performance: The world of backpacks is a crowded arena, but Eberlestock’s track record and quality makes it rise to the top. You would be hard pressed to find a pack with this many choices of color and accessories that mesh so well together. The X4 is built to be a three-day style pack; it isn’t overly large, and is built to sit closer to the body than traditional larger packs. This pack would be perfect for sheep hunters, day hikers, or anyone wanting a medium-sized pack that will last years.
The Eberlestock X4 may not fit the needs of everyone—no single backpack will—but the X4 excels in the area it was designed for. A medium-sized backpack that can take the weather and elements and ride where it’s supposed to on the user. The 1400-cubic-inch capacity makes it a great pack to use on either a single day trip or a three-day hunt.
