In celebration of the birth of this great nation of ours, Oregon-based ammo and rifle maker Nosler has announced a special, limited edition run of 25 rifles dubbed the Nosler Model 48 Independence Day.

Chambered in the company’s new 22 Nosler cartridge, these Nosler Model 48 Independence Day rifles come with a Kryptek Highlander dipped synthetic stock and feature a threaded muzzle for brakes and suppressors. Laser-engraved in the floorplate is the motto “We the People,” which rests just above an engraved American flag to help get you into the patriotic spirit.
The Nosler Model 48 action is designed to provide a rigid platform for tack-driving accuracy, the press release says. The bolt rides on precisely machined action rails, while front of the receiver is squared to true up with the rifle’s match grade 24-inch stainless steel barrel. Also included in this package is a 2-position Rocker safety; Timney trigger; glass & aluminum pillar bedding; and a Cerakote all-weather finish.
The Nosler Model 48 Independence Day is available at a suggested retail price of $1995.
