How to protect your family from an Active Shooter — A Navy SEAL sniper weighs in

Editor’s note: This piece was originally published last year, but because of the unfortunate events of recent weeks, this issue has weighed heavily on my mind as a father, husband, and person that prides myself on being prepared for a bad situation. We’re not a massive media conglomerate, we’re a small group of guys that […]

Handgun Tactics: Why You Don’t Need a Laser

Handgun Tactics | Why You Don’t Need a Laser

I always get asked the question, “What’s the best laser or sight system for my gun?”. I am a big fan of keeping it simple. Add too much crap to the mix and you may look like a tactical ninja on the range but you’ll look a different way when it comes down to shooting […]

Days Of Guns: A Navy SEALs CZ-550 Sniper Rifle

Days Of Guns: A Navy SEALs CZ-550 Sniper Rifle

The CZ (Ceska zbrojovka “Czech Armory”) 550 is a solid rifle I’ll give it that for sure.  It is what I’d describe as a middle of the road “utility” gun.  In the SEAL Teams a “utility” weapon was one that you could use for multiple purposes (close quarter battle or sniper ops).  Mine came chambered […]

The Titin Weighted Compression Shirt Reviewed by Brandon Webb

I met TITIN team in New York a few months ago, and was impressed with their story and the group as a whole. You could tell that good things were happening for them with the business, and this is always nice to see as an entrepreneur myself. Go visit their website, it’s totally worth it! […]

Fixing The 2 Most Common AR-15 Training Errors

Navy SEAL Qualification Training | Weapons & Tactics

This is a great video produced by Naval Special Warfare that gives you a peek at the 3-month SQT course that BUD/S students go through upon graduation.  SQT is where candidates earn their SEAL Trident, once they’re done they go to a team and hope to keep their Budweiser intact. I talk a little about […]

The Barret MRAD Rifle

The Barrett MRAD Rifle

My first impression of the Barrett MRAD (Multi-Role Adaptive Design) straight out of the box was that Barrett had designed a beautiful rifle.  The rifle I received for my evaluation was a bolt action chambered for .338 Lapua Magnum. The concept behind Barrett’s MRAD system, is that it provides the shooter with an adaptable modular […]
