Condor Cipher Jeans: Free and Flexible

June 23, 2018 by Travis Pike Leave a Comment

I’m glad to see the world of tactical pants evolving past uniform style cargo pants. Cargo pants are great, but sometimes you just wanna toss on a pair of jeans and go. The Condor Cipher jeans are promising to change the way you see jeans. The Condor Cipher jeans look like dark blue jeans but they pack plenty of surprises.

Moving and Grooving with the Condor Cipher Jeans

Movement is key to anything, and the Condor Cipher jeans want to offer you a wide range of movement. The Cipher Jeans are extremely flexible and allow to climb, jump, and move with absolute ease. The Condor Cipher jeans are somewhat fitted and are far from bell bottoms. The one thing you never feel is restricted by these jeans. I don’t have a better way to say this, but they are Yoga pants for men.

Hitting the range and running a serious of drills using cover and multiple positions really showed how well these jeans work. Even climbing over a few obstacles was easy. I never felt like the pants were going to give or rip in any way.

They Have Surprises

The jeans have your standard five pocket pattern, but there are also two additional pockets to the 4 and 8 o’clock positions. These pockets can fit a variety of gear, from multi-tools to AR 15 magazines. It’s easy to fit a variety of gear in these pockets for some low profile advanced EDC. The pockets conceal a 20 Round AR magazine perfectly… just saying.

Reloading your rifle from these pants is surprisingly intuitive. Once I got used to where the magazine was I could reload on the fly. The pockets also accommodate knives and flashlights very well, and as dedicated pockets, they won’t get in the way of your keys or cell phone.

The waistband is slightly elastic and this makes it perfect for the carry of big guns in IWB holsters. That little bit of stretch makes it easy to carry a big gun like the CZ p09 or Glock 17 without it feeling too tight. You can order a pair of pants that’s your actual waist size and they grow to accommodate the gun. This keeps you from having to order a size or two bigger to carry your gun.

They are a true fit design and fit me like a glove. They are quite stylish and very comfortable. Not to mention they are lightweight and perfect for summer wear. I’m really loving the Condor Cipher jeans, so color me impressed.
