The Inland M30-P .30-Cal Pistol Features Sage EBR Chassis, Arm Brace

Inland Manufacturing, the Ohio-based outfit that sells replicas of firearms originally made by the Inland Division of General Motors—but bears no relation to that erstwhile company—has announced its new Inland M30-P .30 caliber carbine pistol.

A modified version of Inland’s full-size .30 caliber M1 carbine, the Inland M30-P features a Sage EBR (Enhanced Battle Rifle) Mil-Spec black hard anodized aluminum chassis, with an integral Picatinny rail, specifically made for this pistol. Also included is a Gear Head Works Mod II Tail Hook Arm Brace, which Inland is careful to point out fits the forearm and is not intended to be used as a shoulder stock. The brace is removable and is suitable for right and left-handed use. It also makes for easy one-handed shooting.

The Inland M30-P sports an Ergo Sure Grip pistol grip; threaded 12-inch barrel; and M1 style sights with an adjustable ghost ring aperture rear sight. With the arm brace, the pistol measures 29 3/8 inches in OAL. Take away the brace and the length is cut down to 20 1/4 inches. Meanwhile, weight is 5.5 pounds with the brace, and 4.5 pounds without it.

Shipping out with one 10-round magazine, the Inland M30-P pistol—like all Inland .30 caliber carbines and pistols—also fits higher-capacity military and civilian mags. The suggested retail price on this gun is $1699. The press release doesn’t mention availability, but on its Facebook page, Inland says to expect it in 2018.
